He is a tropical medicine/infectious diseases specialist (DTM&H) from RCP-UK, Leading HIV Specialist certified from American academy of HIV  Medicine; with more than 16 years experience in clinical and research activities.

He is a specialist in management of HIV/STIs/TB  and other infectious diseases.

He is a fellow of Royal school of public health and member of various national & international clinical associations. 

He is  member of guidelines writing committee for National Infectious Diseases treatment guidelines. 

He is one of very few who have HIV specialist certificate from American academy of HIV medicine.
